Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room was a bit small for the price but was very practical for storing our wet gear. Waking up to the sound of birds and a lovely view was a plus, although the room faced darkly towards some rubbish containers.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The room, though described as fancy, turned out to be very comfortable and cozy, with ample tea and coffee provisions for an overnight stay. Everything was immaculately clean and well-decorated, providing a beautiful and comfortable space to relax in. The staff members were incredibly helpful and friendly, except for one receptionist who seemed a bit aloof. The location was ideal for hiking Ben Lomond, offering a serene and quiet atmosphere right by the loch. The dining experience was decent, but could have been improved with more vegetarian options. Overall, a lovely stay with great value for money.
The hotel was a lovely surprise, as we were made to feel extremely welcome at short notice. The rooms, although not ensuite, were fabulous and had nice bathrooms along with tea and coffee facilities. The location, especially for outdoor activities like hiking Ben Lomond, was perfect. However, the dining experience was lacking diversity and could be improved.
The hotel had comfortable and clean rooms though a bit dull in decor. The service was friendly and efficient, albeit not very personal. Its location by the loch was beautiful, but could use better management for a more inviting atmosphere. The dining experience was satisfactory with self-service options. The hotel lacked a bit in facilities but served its purpose well.
I had the best nights sleep ever at the hotel, including a lovely breakfast. However, the heavy foot steps late at night and early in the morning were a bit disruptive due to the water boiler pipe length.
